Capabilities include the ability to hob, crown hob, cnc hob, skive hob or spline roll forms on shaft od's. Typical spline types includes involute splines, spur gears, tapered splines, tapered root splines, straight sided splines, and special indexed forms on shafts, cylinders, and tubes.

We can hob diametral pitches up to 4DP (6.35 MOD) on parts with flanges up to 18" (457mm) in diameter, and up to 185" (4700mm) in length.

We can spline roll shafts up to 130" (in length, and up to 3.75" (95mm) in diameter.

A typical splining application includes drive shafts, stub shafts, and power transmission shafts, where high torque loading is present, and load distribution about the circumference is critical to good shaft performance.
